One of the biggest problems you can face as a smoker trying to stop smoking is trying to understand exactly why you continue with this harmful and expensive addiction, despite all the negative consequences. Your current eating habits will be examined and then the therapist will work with you to build your self esteem, confidence, willpower and motivation so that you can make lasting changes. The Hypno-Band system is ideal people who have a Body Mass Index of 30 or above and who do not have any physiological reasons for their weight problems. The Hypnotic Gastric band is generally not recommended for individuals with thyroid problems (unless stabilised) or insulin dependent diabetes. The Hypno-Band is a system which makes you believe that you have had a gastric band fitted under hypnosis and therefore is ideally suited for individuals who need discipline not to overeat. This Weight Loss procedure takes place over four sessions within a rigid timeframe.
Will the Hypno-Band hurt?
The Gastric Hypnotic Band procedure is relaxing and comfortable.
Does the Hypno Gastric Band involve Surgery?
No! The Hypno band hypnotherapy is a non-invasive behavior changing method using the techniques of Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
The Hypnotic Gastric Band technique works by making you believe that you have had a Gastric Band fitted. The Hypno Gastric Band is installed and put into place around the top part of your stomach during virtual hypnotic surgery. Making you believe that the size of your stomach has reduced in size and therefore you will eat smaller portions and feel full much quicker. This means that you can lose weight naturally and easily without undergoing surgery. The Virtual Gastric Band has huge advantages as there is no need for you to go under the knife, have an anesthetic or spend weeks recovering from the procedure. The Gastric Hypnotic Band is also significantly cheaper than the £6,000 to £8,000 cost of surgery.
Am I suitable for the Gastric Hypnotic Band?
The Hypno-Band is designed for people who are fully committed to losing weight and have a BMI of over 30. All clients are assessed before commencing with the Virtual Gastric Band procedure. Generally if you are over-weight and committed to losing that weight and changing your life style you would be considered suitable. The program is not suitable for individuals who have a physiological reason for their weight gain.
Will the Hypno-Band work for me?
The Hypno-Band system gives you the tools and ability to lose and maintain a healthier body but you need to be serious about losing weight and following the program.The Hypno Gastric Band is a treatment program which requires input from both the therapist and client. No weight loss system will work for you unless you are committed to losing weight and are prepared to change your diet and lifestyle. During each Gastric Band hypnosis session you may be given tasks or homework to do which must be completed before the next session to ensure your success.
How long does the Hypno-Band procedure take?
Generally the whole process takes place over four one hour sessions. The first three sessions will take place on a weekly basis with the final session 4 to 6 weeks later. There is some flexibility in this program so feel free to ask the therapist how it can be tailored to you. I ask all my Hypno-Band clients to fully complete the program within 14 weeks of the start date.
The first three sessions take place over a maximum period of six weeks with the final session taking place approximately one month to six weeks later.
How much will Hypno Gastric Band hypnotherapy cost?
